Rebuttal Reports

Crashteams experts are highly experienced in reviewing the reports submitted by other experts. Our intention in reviewing these reports on your behalf is to discover any of the following:
  • Incorrect assumptions that might impact calculation results
  • Faulty input data – from vehicle damage information, scene measurement data, or other raw data source
  • Incorrect interpretation of evidence
  • Oversights in evidence reviews
  • Mistakes in calculations
  • Improper methods or procedures in relation to best practices
  • Improper use of computer software to calculate, simulate or animate results.

We do not engage in nit-picking and are focussed on discovering issues which impact  the outcome of the case. We might simply tell you after a short review- that essentially the report is correct and it may not make sense to engage us to deliver a formal rebuttal report. In that case, we will give you some tips on cross examination questions that might assist you.

If we do discover important issues with the accuracy of the report, we will deliver a powerful, and comprehensive report outlining the problems and also providing support for our opinion wherever appropriate. That would mean providing technical literature and references which support our opinion.

To get started, please send us the report that you wish us to review to

rebuttals@crashteams.com

Once received, we will assign it to an expert in your region, who will review it immediately - and provide an prelimary opinion within 24 hours. If you need it sooner than that, it is no problem as long as you tell us in your email message.
